For example, if you are a veterinary practice, you could control your own out of hours call handling rather than forward calls to an out of hours service provider where you might lose the potential treatment of the animal, not only for the emergency but for the follow up appointment to the surgery too.
As all calls are handled by qualified RCVS vet nurses and triaged, only urgent calls get passed through to you whilst all other calls are handled by either making an appointment for the following day or self treating.
